Everything is Food

Have you ever considered the nutritonal value of a hug? What about how the thoughts you think on a daily basis, both conscious or subconscious, can either improve your health or create a deficiency? A healthy thought process, healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a satisfying spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When these“primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.

We are all different, so I adhere to the theory of bio-individuality. This is the theory that each person has their own personal nutritional needs.  So, when the experts say, “dairy is good for you” or “fat is unhealthy,” it’s too much of a generalization. What 's one person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s one of the reason's why fad diets don’t work in the long run. As your healthy life coach, I work with you and look at your age, your overall health, activity level, blood type, metabolic rate, personality type and personal preferences to help you determine your individual dietary needs.

Be a success!

When people are given the power to take charge of their own health, and given the tools necessary to make those changes, wonderful things begin to happen. In my own work experiences, I've had clients clear up their skin conditions, feel confident in choosing and preparing better food, understand and control cravings, feel better in their body, discover a new passion and hapiness in life, and improve personal relationships. By giving these clients access to free information, food and the tools for growth, they have achieved the life they always wanted, in the way that is most comfortable for them, in their own time.

As adults we are capable of making our own decisions. Even children know what feels good and bad. As I work with you, I'll help you relearn how to tap into your intuition  to figure out the who, what, where and why something is nourishing for you as opposed to just feeding you. When you are just fed, it fills you up but isn't very satisfying. Nor does it help your body or mind perform at it's optimum. When you are nourished you receive everything you need to feel healthy, satiated, happy and safe.

Similarities and Differences to a Registerd Dietitian:

Similar- We are both food based in helping you achieve your goals, we are both science based and work in clinical setting as well as within various communities.

Differences-I recommend organic, chemical free foods that are whole and complete by nature, I ask you to follow your own healthy eating habits vs. eating by following the USDA MYPYRAMID, I offer a personalized program vs. programs based on the masses (such as programs for diabetic, cancer or heart patients) and I discuss various superfoods and dietary choices that most registered dietitians will not.
